This was good news for a number of reasons. Well, it turned out that Mark and Grayce are going to be around a bit longer. So we played other games, and taught other games, but never really got around to bridge. Knowing that, we were hesitant to put in the time teaching bridge to people who would then run off with only a small hint of what the game really is. Anyone who plays bridge knows that the game take ages top learn and a lifetime to master (if one ever does).
Now, Corrie and I are always up for recruiting new people to the world of bridge, but Mark also mentioned upon meeting us that he and Grayce would be moving away in a couple of months. When we first met them, Mark mentioned that he badly wanted to learn to play Bridge.
We need to talk about this whole 'Week of Cards.' We've known Mark and Grayce for a number of months now, but it feels like we've been friends for years. So I finally got around to playing Haggis last night.Īctually, I am getting ahead of myself here.
